From the moment you step in the courtyard, the change of scenery is immediate. On the other side of a chocolate-coloured stone wall, a pleasant feeling of intimacy prevails in this welcoming place, offering a cocooning atmosphere.
An elegant setting, a warm welcome and the discreet attentions of a very friendly and responsive staff are the hallmark of Récif Attitude (located on the site of the former Colonial Beach Hotel). This all-new adventure started in October 2008, with guest satisfaction and comfort as its main concern.

The immaculate white of the structure is reminiscent of traditional Mediterranean dwellings, offering a magnificent contrast to the sky and the lagoon. A contrast accentuated by materials such as wood, slates, marble tiling and metal. Amidst the soberly human proportions of these cubic shapes, a courtyard that sprouts greenery and common areas dressed in warm colours.

Inside and outside seem one and the same. The outdoor areas offer plenty of open sky and large picture windows invite the natural light in whilst constantly drawing the guests’ gaze to the stunning blue waters of the ocean.
Ideally located on the waterfront and bathed in sunlight, the common areas are most pleasant spots for couples, families and groups to relax and daydream. The comfort-oriented setting offers a wide choice of seating to catch the sun or enjoy the bliss of tropical evenings – from the bar’s armchairs and sofas to fun. All the while sipping a tropical drink or having a taste of our scrumptious cuisine.

Resolutely minimalist, the simple and pure atmosphere extends to the rooms, imparting a wonderful feeling of openness and freshness. Subtle touches of a very trendy colours enlighten the space.
Gliding over the multiple shades of blue of the lagoon, the eye stretches to the magnificent marine park of Balaclava and drifts beyond the shoals, into the deep blue of the Indian Ocean. The reefs from which Récif Attitude holds its name are close enough to the shore to make the waters right in front of the hotel a favoured spot for surf aficionados.
The place lends itself perfectly to leisure activities in the outdoors and water activities. Or simply lying down and enjoying the sun – on a deck chair by the pool or in the intimacy of a secluded white-sand beach –, letting the murmur of the waves lull you to rest…
